About Mrs. Amie Collins
Mrs. Collins obtained her Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. She is certified to teach grades K-8. She has previously taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. The 2018-2019 school year marks her first year at St. John Neumann, but it is her eighth year teaching.
Mrs. Collins is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She spent two years working at the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta. She worked in the Language and Learning Clinic. While there, she helped children with language delays learn how to communicate wants and needs.
She is a mother of one precious son who helps her see each student through the eyes of a parent. Her daily goal is to make each child feel smart enough, capable enough, and truly welcomed and loved.
